When Cooking with Carléta first began, it wasn’t about lights, cameras, or production — it started in my kitchen, surrounded by friends from acting class, my church family, and the people closest to my heart. We laughed, shared stories, and cooked together — not for perfection, but for connection. I’ve always believed that food should bring people together, not leave anyone out. Before every meal, I ask, “Do you have any food allergies?” because I want everyone to feel seen, safe, and included. A home-cooked meal should make people feel welcome — no exceptions. That’s why I call my home Love Without Borders. Whether you’re straight or gay, Black or white, from across the street or across the world — you’re welcome at my table. In my home, we serve God. We don’t compromise on His Word, but we lead with love, fellowship, and peace. Because every meal, every conversation, and every moment around the table is a reflection of His goodness — and an opportunity to remind people what love really looks like.
